Good vibes + positivity!
As 2020 ends and the new year begins it's important to establish healthy habits and to fortify a positive, encouraging attitude. As a high school student, I know how hard it is to stay motivated, determined, and active, especially during a time like this. I hope this article helps you in your journey through this phase of life as well.

A few things that have helped me are:
- Waking up at a certain time every weekday
-Eating something as breakfast (doesn't need to be a big heavy meal)
-Showering// keeping up with daily hygiene
-Taking 1-2 hours doing something that helps you decompress :)
-Getting some fresh air, going for a walk
-Drinking as much water as possible!!
-Working out at least 30 minutes a day, or as frequently as possible
-Cleaning my room

I think what helps me the most is not looking at a list of things that need doing as a list of chores that you dread, but rather as an opportunity to better and improve yourself. It gets challenging sometimes to change a negative mindset because it feels like a never-ending dark, opaque pit that you can't see your way out of. But just as there is a light at the end of the tunnel, there's a bright side! Also, it is not my intent to come across as an overbearing, pestering parent but spending some time away from your device's screen is a good thing. I wish you the best on your journey to becoming a more beautiful, healthy, improved version of yourself! Happy New Year!
