Hello, my name is Ava Sommer and I am a freshman at Peak to Peak Charter School in Colorado. I love helping others and currently volunteer at an organization called A Precious Child as well as tutor students at my school. I enjoy playing the violin, golfing, traveling, and listening to music. My goals for the future involve law and finance and I’m passionate about equal rights and helping the environment. I am involved with both Ethics Bowl and the political science club and feel it is very important for teenagers to be knowledgeable about current events and to be an active part of the community. I’m really excited to be a part of this magazine because I feel it is a great way for teens to share individual views and to learn more about our ever-changing world.
